Now Peter goes through a startling transformation, from nerd to hunk. Peter uses his powers to wrestle the Bonesaw for a chance at enough money to buy a car and impress his would be girlfriend who he had a crush on since they were in grade school, Mary Jane Watson.

He wins and gets short changed by the promoter, so he gets even by letting a robber escape. But the same robber becomes a Carjacker stealing his Uncle Ben's car, murdering him doing so. So Peter Parker decides to dedicating his life to portecting the innocent.

But Norman Osborne's crazy experiments is about to transform him into the Green Goblin and the battle of the century is about to begin....

ZEDD'S OPINION:

A pretty good adaptation of the comic book, with one or two complaints. Complaint one, The web doesn't come from Peter's body, it comes from web shooters in which Peter has a six sense on how it's made, complaint two. The Green Goblin's costume and glider is way wrong. These are my complaints, what they did right was Spider-Man's costume. That was way cool, way cool.
I GIVE IT...9 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd, but those things he bugged him about the movie bugged me allot more. Espically the lack of webshooters which I believe they didn't do because they wanted to keep the budget down. After all, a little apllience is keeper then two props.
I GIVE IT...7 STARS

ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ SPIDER-MAN COSTUME (The first live action to get the costume right since the Electric Company)
+ ACTION (Plenty of action to go around)
+ STORY (The story even with the slight changes does work)
+ EFFECTS (The swinging and flying effects are awesome)
+ WILLIAM DAFOE (The only thing they got right with the Green Goblin)

ON TH ENEGATIVE SIDE (- MISES):

- NO WEBSHOOOTERS (I don't know if the creators thought they were being clever or they just went cheap, but the lack of Webshooters is a big blunder)
- GREEN GOBLIN (Costume, glider, pumpkin bombs are all wrong)

AND FINALLY:

- FAN BASED (If you're not big on comic book movies, then this isn't for you)
