THE PLOT:
Six years ago a young girl dies due to a bunch of kids creul teasing which results in her falling backwards through a glass
window. Six years later, the kids who ran away from the crime scenes have gotten on with their lives never knowing that the
shadow of death is lurking around every corner, that a killer is out for revenge.
Kim is the only one racked with guilt even after six years. But she will soon be racked with fear. Who is the killer
and what is his connection to the second degree murder they commited so many years ago?
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I think this is only fair compared to some of the sequels. The cast does do a good job. The gore effects are effect, but since
it was an ordinary guy I wish they would have had clues to the killer's identity, so we the viewer might try to figure it
out. It starts off with this girl getting killed by the teasing, first off, I don't remember why they were teasing her. She
didn't look smart or anything "wrong" with her. So why pick on her? Then after the death, they put it on the back
burner for what seems like eternity, it gets to a point that you don't even know what was the bloody point of it. But there
is plenty of suspense and shocks. But as a whole I give Prom Night 6 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, I was about to give it the NOOSE. But without giving anything away PROM NIGHT started to pick up and started
to become more interesting and finally explained the link to the first scene in the movie. The first two act are much to
talk about, it starts to kick in during the third act. 5 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job, considering what they had to work with.)
+ GORE EFFECTS (The gore effects are workable.)
+ STORY (Near the end works.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- SLOW (It almost gets the noose for the slow pace.)
- NO CLUES (Why not leave clues behind, give the slow part some mystery.)
- MASK (Not even original mask, it's a sky mask! What? Is he going to knock off a 7-Eleven when he's through at the
prom?)
- FLASHBACK BEGINNING (It gets to a point to where you say "What the hell did it have to do with this?"
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on slasher movies, then this isn't for you.)
