into the deepest, darkest and uncharted part of Africa.
They arrive at the top of the Moutain and found the evidence he needs but they are now trapped and may not be able to
make it back to London to boast.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Like allot of silent movies the lack of dialog makes it somewhat slow. But the effects in this movie is way ahead of it's
time. Stop motion effects were really cool and the story stays clsoe to the H.G. Wells novel. This is a true classic. My
only complaint is about the DVD version I have, there is this thing that appears in the corner, it looks like a tiny movie
camera with 2/2 on it. I geuss they put it there to prevent Piracy, well it's annoying and wrong. But it doesn't effect
the grade of the movie any.
I GIVE IT....8 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I think silents are boring maining I am not the fastest reader in the world and it's hard to keep up with the captions. But
I agree with Zedd on the amazing effects and story. I would watch this again. Thank god for the pause button on DVD players.
I GIVE IT....7 STARS

ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (The first use of stop motion in the history of movies)
+ STORY (They stayed very close to the original story)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters were well written and acted)
+ RESTORED (The DVD version has restored scenes lost for decades)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO SOUND (Hence the silent part I know. But without vocals, silents are alittle dull)
AND FINALLY:
- DVD BUG (Some versions have this annoying DVD bug in the corner)
