THE PLOT:
The teachers at the local high school is acting strange, very strange. Freshmen Casey feels that he knows the answer for
the teachers strange actions. They have been infected by strange water loving aliens.
With the help of his new friends he begins to seek the truth and the evidence he needs to prove it. Not only have the
faculty have been infected by these strange alien parasites but they are spreading to other schools and perhaps the whole
town may be infected. But there is something in the local drug dealers speed that hurts the aliens, what is the secret ingredent
and who is the Queen of these monsters?
ZEDD'S OPINION:
The creature effects are cool, the story works. The cast works. The characters were likable for the most part, even though
there are some character issues in this. It's very funny at points and very scary at points. This movie delivers on both,
it's exciting, it's cool, it's just plan great. I don't know what the critics say, but I think the director did a great job.
I couldn't wait until they got to the queen monster, in my opinion one cool monster. Plus there is a bit of a mystery, who
is the queen monster. A must see if you like alien invasion movies and if you like INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, then you'll
love THE FACULTY. I give it...9 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this movie, I think it's very cool as well. The one liners are funny and the puns are very cool. I
was expecting much when I first heard of it. But I was pleasently surprised. The Faculty is much more then anyone would
expect. There was the aspect that they're saying that there's no such thing as friendly aliens, that all aliens want to conquer
us, that is not true. I think everyone should see it...I too give it...9 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ ACTING (Great acting throughout the whole movie. Oscar worthy, if you ask me.)
+ EFFECTS (Most excellent effects.)
+ STORY (Secret invasions always work well if done right.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTER ISSUES (Some character has some minor annoying qualties.)
- NO FRIENDLY ALIENS (They said that all aliens want out planet.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on Alien Movies, then this isn't for you.)
