Desperate to bring her back and the world he was knew, Toshiaki surgerical removes Kiyomi's liver and tries an insane
experiment involving mitochondria. But something has gone horribly wrong and the mitochondria has grown a life of it's own
and transformed into a monstreous clone of his late wife.
Eve now kidnaps a young nurse and makes new plans, and it's up to Toshiaki to stop the monster he accidently created.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
First came the book, then came this movie. Followed lastly by two video games, all a continuation of the former. I wish
they had more monsters in this movie other then Eve. I really do. But the story works and if you are a fan of the book or
the games, you will like this movie. I give it..9 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, I think the movie could have used more monsters. But that's not my biggest complaint about it. Lack of
dubbed version, I don't read very fast and it's hard to keep track with what they are saying with what they are doing. Plus
you can't turn off the subtitles, say you want pictures. That was also annoying. I wanted a dubbed version and I want it
soon. But as for the story, I give it...9 STARS. Big fan of the games.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (Impressive story that never wavers.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters were very well written.)
+ EFFECTS (The creature effects are most impressive.)
+ DIALOG (The dialog was well written)
+ SUBTITLES (The subtitles were easier to read then other subtitled movies.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NEEDED MORE CREATURES (Like the game I would have liked to have seen more monsters.)
- NO DUBBED VERSION (I really wish they had a dubbed version.)
- CAN'T TURN SUBTITLES OFF (It was to get pictures since we couldn't turn the subtitles off.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the book or the games, then this isn't for you.)
