THE PLOT:
Nikki is a prisoner that has been given a chance to get out of prison years early for the "crime" she commited.
The catch is, she has to investigate a mad scienctist named Dane.
Pike, the agent that had her arrested feels that Dane's up to something sinister, because Dane is the only survivor to
return from exploring another dimention.
What Dane is planning is more sinister then anyone could possibly imagine. She is infecting everyone of her ship with
monstreous predetors from the other dimention. Two of these monsters, these Dimentinators have hatched on the ship and it's
up to Nikki and her new "friend" Max to stop them.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Not a perfect movie, it has a few flaws. The whole thing chugs alittle in the beginning of the movie and I think this is
a sequel to something. But for the life of me I don't know what. The title is so vague I don't know what it could be connected
to. But I do love the monster, when he finally shows himself he is so cool. Mind you, he's just an overgrown puppet. But
what a puppet, for an overblown T and A movie, this is one cool effect. Plus original ships, no stolen stockfootage from
"BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS". That's always a plus. I give it....8 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
What Zedd wrote is exactly my main problem with it, all the early T and A. It wasn't that fun and I love T and A as much
as the next guy, but it got in the way of the story. This was suppose to be LETHAL TARGET not EMMANUELLE IN SPACE. Anyway,
the creature ripping out of the girl's chest is stolen from ALIEN. I must give it...6 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story basically worked)
+ CHARACTERS (I liked the characters)
+ CAST (Plenty of pretty girls to look at)
+ NEW SHIPS (NO stockfootage from older movies)
AND....
+ COOL MONSTER (For a glorified T&A flick, it has one of the coolest monsters)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CONCEPT (The whole alien on the space ship is a little over done)
- CHUGS (The monster part is slow to start)
- SEQUEL (If anyone knows what this is the sequel, please e-mail me and let me know)
- RIP OFF (The monster larva ripping out of the chest is so ripped off from ALIEN)
AND FIANLLY....
- MONSTER NAME (I really wish that Dane told us the creaure's name, she went to their universe, so she should know it)
