stem cell research, counting all those billions the head of the company and a handful of employees head for Dr. King's island.
But it was a trap, the breakthrough was transforming his dying son into a half man half hammerhead shark monster and the
agenda was murder. Revenge on the company he felt wronged him.
Can they escape this island alive???
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I was major league disappointed in this one, the Hammerhead monster looked pretty cool, what I saw of it! What's up with
all the stupid close ups, extreme close up at that. His eye, his mouth, never a full screen shot except underwater via a
far away tank. What? Were the makers ashamed at what they made? The creater of "IT CONQUERED THE WORLD" made
the dumbest monster in movie history and yet we got to see it, next time why not let us decide weither it's a stupid monster
or not. Plus, there was too much action and not enough monster. I have to give it...5 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
5 STARS! Zedd is being way to generous with this turkey, way, way too generous. Allot of crap came from the Sci-Fi channel
over the years and this is no exception. I feel that the characters were unappealing, no fault of the cast. I think they
did the best they could with the limited and lame dialog given to them. Plus, what's he doing is completely illegal. Plus,
they never explained how this company wronged him to murder, just because he was fired? What he is, a postal worker? The
other thing about the monster suit I agree with, plus he was part human, yet he never showed anything remotely human, he just
acted like a shark, killing and eating. Where was the human characteristics, where was the pause when he confronted his ex-Girlfriend,
it wasn't there and sorry to the cast of this movie, but I will have to give it the NOOSE!

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (What there was of them)
+ CGI (The Hammerhead CGI effects was cool, but cheap.)
+ CAST (We both liked the cast)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO FULL SHOT (What's with keeping the monster in shadow, even at the end)
- CHARACTERS (The chacters were shallow and unappealing, due to bad writing)
- WHY CGI? (Why not make the suit swimable? Hell, they did for CREATURE OF THE BLACK LAGOON)
- NO HUMAN CHARACTRISTICS (Except that it walks on dry land, you can't tell that thing was ever human. There was no sign
of human characteristics or reconition of his ex-lover)
AND FINALLY....
- UNREALISTIC (No way can stem cell research turn into this)
